This is a great book, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It does contain a lot of technical details but that just made it even more fascinating to me.
I found myself at times really believing the story and becoming involved in the plot. Recommended.

Jodi Taylor writes well, and in this short story she gives some insight into the beginnings of it all. It was read well and I very much enjoyed it.

What did you like most about Colonel Butler's Wolf?

I am relatively new to Anthony Price and the David Audley series - they are excellent examples of spy drama, set in the second world war and post war years. This book is written from Colonel Butlers viewpoint, and I find this a terrific way of fleshing the characters out and seeing other perspectives. A very good narrator and a great story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Despite liking most characters as you get to know them more, I am fascinated by the testy, clever and secretive David Audley.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Final scenes in Scotland

Any additional comments?

If you like Le Carre, you will love Anthony Price.
