In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

Michelle reads her book in such a fashion that it’s hard to stop listening to. At times the power and heartfelt passion with which she reads is so moving, like she is there in person.

I came across this title via Casey Neistat in one of his YouTUBE videos say it was a must read before the Spielberg motion picture of the same title came out. I bought the paperback book as well as this Audible title and have loved both reading and listening to it.

Born at the start of the 70’s the book covers so many of my childhood memories of technology and those of a growing teen and in to my 20’s and even 30’s. The motion picture has a lot to live up to and I only hope Spielberg has done it justice. If you are a child of the 60’s, 70’s or 80’s that loved video games and tech then this is a must read for you.
