One of the nation's most popular presenters examines twenty marvels of the natural world from his extraordinary and pioneering experiences. What was Sir David's first pet? Which animal would he most like to be? What creature lays 'the biggest egg in the world'? How do you communicate with an ancient nomadic community in Fiji? And what did Sir David do when confronted by a ten-foot-long reptile?

I find Attenborough's way of describing his stories and the creatures that he talks about truly interesting, I just wish he'd give the scientific names of the creatures such as the Sicilian or the two species of sloths rather than describing them and hoping we know what he's talking about.

Funny and insightful, Wesley himself recounts the playful process of filming the classic cult hit. Dotted with anecdotes from the cast and crew and a few uncanny impressions along the way, this book is a definite must listen for anyone who has seen 'The Princess Bride'.
