The new best-seller from the author of Zero Six Bravo. By 2007 Viktor Bout had become the world's foremost arms dealer. Known as the Merchant of Death, he was both public enemy number one to the global intelligence agencies and a ruthless criminal worth around $6 billion. For years Bout had eluded capture, meanwhile building up a labyrinthine network of airlines selling weapons to order to dictators, rebels, despots and terror groups worldwide.

This was a great story from start to finish.

The accents were a little off at times especially that of the King of Sting who seemed to have a Chinese accent!

However, overall I highly recommend the book.

It was only midway through the book when the author talked about Marlon Brando that I realised how old this book was.

Everything in it is still relevant.

I got a lot from this book and will read again.

This was ok. The narrator was reasonably good but is limited to only a few voices so one Scottish lord had a similar voice to another later in the book.

It took me quite a while to finish the book so it never gripped me despite the potential interest.

I won't be going for any other books in the series or by the author.

SpaceX and Tesla have really captured my attention. The fabulous wealth that Elon has gathered in a relatively short period of time makes him a fascinating subject.

This is a very interesting account of Musk and his companies. I've no doubt a warts and all with more details on his childhood will eventually be released but for now this is an interesting insight into the history of his companies and how he sees the future.

Well read (with the exception of the impersonations of other players which were AWFUL). Poulter is an interesting character and it was interesting to hear of the effect the death of his cousin had on him at such a young age. He seems to have good self awareness and a great work ethic. I certainly warmed to the human behind the character.
