I enjoyed the story of his life and where it took him and his challenges.
But for all his achievements, he sounds like he lost a whole lot more of other things people value very highly.
Lots of effing & blinding mostly none appropriate.
But if you wanted the military to be your life, or an extreme sport you need to conquer, then I’d say It’s well worth a listen.
Just wasn’t for me really

Not being a football fan I was a bit sceptical at first, but there was no need.
Even tho football clubs are mentioned a lot (well that was his life) it’s about the leading and the leaders and leadership at these clubs and others, a good insight to who he respected as great leaders on and off the field.
Also great little words of words wisdom here and there, that he picked up over the years.
Listened to this twice so far back to back and shall be giving it a whirl again 😊😊😊

I’ve listened to and read quite a few self help and motivational books now, and this;once it gets going is right up there with the best.
Stone I find simplifies the message Napoleon Hill is trying to get across.

I know it’s one of the classics, but I found it very well read by Ian Mckellen a rich and rounded voice but the story just wasn’t for me at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed this read by Michael Caine himself, and life not handed on a silver plater, it didn’t sound to good the early years, but what a life once it got going.

As per usual an excellently reading off Hugh Fraser, and some great characters.
Really enjoyed listening to this, a book I couldn’t put down to capture a phrase.
