Not That Kind of Love
- By: Clare Wise, Greg Wise
- Narrated by: Rose Smith, Greg Wise
- Length: 8 hrs and 38 mins
A moving, thought-provoking and surprisingly humorous book which is both a description of a journey to death and a celebration of the act of living. Based on Clare Wise's blog, which she started when she was first diagnosed with cancer in 2013, Not That Kind of Love charts the highs and lows of the last three years of Clare's life. The end result is not a book that fills you with despair and anguish. On the contrary, Not That Kind of Love should be listened to by everybody for its candour and for its warmth and spirit.
So Moving and Thought Provoking

Beautiful book about life and love
I decided to read this after seeing an excerpt in the Newspaper. I didn’t know much about Cancer but wanted to be better informed.
Clare’s outlook on her situation was nothing short of amazing. Greg’s strength in caring for her until the end was very touching. I was in tears by the end of the book but I would defy anyone not to be moved by the words and acts of love. Two inspirational human beings.

Far From The Tree

From the National Book Award–winning author of The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression comes a monumental new work, a decade in the writing, about family. In Far from the Tree, Andrew Solomon tells the stories of parents who not only learn to deal with their exceptional children but also find profound meaning in doing so. Solomon’s startling proposition is that diversity is what unites us all.
