anecdotal drivel. if you want to hear about Ant's disdain for people wearing new mountain equipment then get it, otherwise skip.

I do not recommend this book for anyone who has a brain. unless maybe you enjoy background noise, it was good for that

I really enjoyed this epic sci-fi audio book. I think the only issue would be that it was built up so much in the reviews that i had read that it would never be able to measure up to my expectations.

I've been looking for a long time for a really well structured and cleverly written sci-fi and this was definitely it!

On another point I personally find it difficult to concentrate on listening to any audiobooks that aren't super-fast-paced, and this book did have its slow parts, so quite often i found my attention wandering only to find myself rewinding the bits i'd missed! So if you're like me the print version may be easier to follow.

Also really well narrated!

Would you consider the audio edition of Needful Things to be better than the print version?

Whilst i really enjoyed the book; i thought that too much time was spent building characters and setting up smaller sections of story-line. While all these sections came to an epic climax at the very end of the book, i thought this climax had way too much build up and not enough substance. If you don't mind listening through the more mundane parts of the book then this will be a great listen.

Also Stephen King's narration was really good, and at times very funny!
