This is a new to me author and I’m glad I took the chance on this book, it left me with a slight book hangover. It seems on paper that Javi a tattoo artist and single dad Gordo shouldn’t work, with all the insecurities and misunderstandings they very nearly don’t.

I didn’t exactly enjoy reading or listening to this although Jack did a good job with the narration, but I was so intrigued and pulled in by the characters, I was compelled to finish it, which I did in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down, It feels that you the reader/listener are there with them every step of the way as Javi and Gordo fight for and win their happy ever after. It also sets up the next book hopefully it will be just as compelling.

I loved all of the individual books and their wonderful characters, to have them all in one place is just brilliant. Michael Dean does a great job with these stories I can’t wait to listen to Volume 2.

Oh my, the new series by May Archer is such fun, with no angst, star crossed slightly grumpy lovers, coming out or rather a realisation, ghosts, buried treasure and a whole cast of wacky and wonderful characters.

I really enjoyed this book and listening to it brought to life, with it’s laugh out loud moments, I think Fenn and Mason were perfect for each other balancing out their insecurities. I can’t wait to find out what the island of Whispering Key has in store for us readers/listeners next.

I waited with bated breathe for this book- Gage was one of my favourite characters from the first book The Problem so I am super pleased he gets to tell his story.
Have made a decision 4 years ago to let his Alpha finish his PHD by keeping his pregnancy and subsequent child a secret from everyone but Alex and Mal (two friends).
Aaron is back and he can't wait to see Gage because all he wants to do is propose. He is so sure as long as secrets and miscommunication doesn't keep them from their HEA.
Meanwhile through all together is a sick little boy who steals the show.
I loved this book so much, so to hear it on the audio was brilliant. Aaron and Gage although already have love, watch as it changes and grows. Gage is sexy, sweet, and so strong showing thank matter the odds, you can endure. Aaron takes most of the surprises in strident is fallible and insecure . This book is written in such away to make them real, so fabulous and hot a really good read.
You don't have to have read the first book but I would recommend that you do just as much as I recommend this book.

Trigger warning - Domestic violence in the prologue and it's aftermath. This is the second book in the finding home series, we get Milo's backstory and it's not a happy one, it has left scars which can't be seen. Naill sees Milo at his worst and helps nurse him to health.
This is a book with hurt/comfort themes along with a very sweet romance, a couple who on the outside seem so different. It also has Lily Morton's trademark snarky banter and the ability to make me laugh which is why she is a must read for me.
I loved these characters in the first book and reading/listening to their story, their coming together despite their trust issues and how they work through insecurities just makes me love them more.

Laurence has been a single dad for 16 years concentrating on family and career the idea of romance falling by the wayside, that is until he meets Alex who is a young artist, hurt by a past that means he doesn't do relationships but together they take the chance on something. They have hiccups, misunderstandings, and obstruction along the the way.
This book is scorching and draws you in from the beginning. The only problem I can see with this book is wanting more and wanting it now. The chemistry between Alex and Laurence is electric and filthy talk is hot. I loved reading and listening to this book, if you like a hot read with daddy kink and lace included this is the book series for you, can't wait for what is next.

Wow wow wow Lily Morton's new book and new series is brilliant, we met Silas briefly in Risk taker (mixed messages) as the older brother to Henry and this is his book, Henry and Ivo do make an appearance in this book after their HEA. You don't need to have read Mixed Messages to enjoy this book.

This could have been such a cliched book, Posh boss hires council estate lad with good grades to save his house where they fall into bed and then in love, BUT This book is pure gold and not like that at all. The main characters are perfectly opposite and so right for each other.
Oz the title holder is the owner of funniest, sharpest, quickest tongue I have had the pleasure of reading in quite sometime and he starts in the very first page and doesn't stop all the way through. He is the utmost cheeky, smartarsed, brilliantly sarcastic Brit around and a lot of thought went into his wit.
Then we have Silas who is his almost complete opposite in station and class quintessentially British gentry think Hugh Grant/ Colin Firth but he is sweet, kind, and funny with a crumbling house and staff that need saving, in other words they need Oz.
The dialogue between the two men is laugh out loud funny to the point of tears in my eyes.

There is a lot of British humour within this book, so be careful if listening in a car! When these two finally have in to the chemistry between them it was sweet and sexy one minute and downright raunchy the next.

This book is most definitely a collector's edition and now in audible a laugh out loud listen.

After decades of friendship, can they really take their relationship to the next level? Or will the shift be too much and leave them both lonelier than ever before?
A great listen with some great characters in this friends to lovers book, I found this to be a great relaxing experience.

There are unexpected surprises and a great drama of the British kind in this book with an inheritance, estranged family, a big cat and new relationships.

I really liked this book in the Pine Cove family, the age gap and all the insecurities surrounding that, I felt were real and organic in the writing style which is why I love this author. Elias and Ben has great chemistry as they go from acquaintances to friends and then onto lovers, finding common ground in their love of books. I would recommend the series to anyone especially those who enjoy a good HEA.
