A solid little yarn, not up to F5 though...

My little 1 enjoyed this, it’s a solid wee yarn about the posse who share a startlingly similar fate & complexion to the F5 series, which made Enid & Spielberg in the “The Goonies” millions of ££££!

Enid is a legend! (For a reason)

My 7 year old son says that this is a really good book & audio program and he would give is a big thumbs up for anyone!

He likes listening to Enid’s books all the time and is her biggest fan. 🙂

Derren the intellect & sage....emerges!

As shared by many others this is a witty & entertaining book.
Derren peels back the layer on parts of his “manipulation“ model in psychology and equally importantly he dives deeper and thoughtfully into how the mind builds reality.....moment-to-moment.
His reflective qualities also shine brightly throughout and some of the commentary is certainly uncomfortable & provoking, as it should be.
In my view, if you rate the tremendously talented Mr Brown - then this is a must listen/read.

This is a great story from Enid and it shows all the great qualities of her children’s work.
Likeable elves and Characters allied to a wonderful adventure which all the family can enjoy. This gets a BIG thumbs up.

Jan Francis is quite literally a phenomenon!
Her elocution is flawless, dictation impeccable and her warm affectionate tone is perfectly matched to Enid’s work.
Which whilst dated in parts (it was written in the 1940’s, so not exactly surprising!) still contains a compelling & engaging narrative.
Some of the characters could also do with more polish but again. I suspect that’s a era issue rather than a flaw per se.
Get this book! You will love it!
