In this uproariously funny debut collection, award-winning writer and performer Isaac Oliver serves up a comedic cornucopia of sketches, vignettes, lists, and diaries from his life as a young, fanciful, and extremely single gay man in New York City. Whether he's hooking up with a man who dresses as a dolphin, suffering on airplanes and buses next to people with Food from Home, or hovering around an impenetrable circle of attractive people at a cocktail party, Oliver captures the messy, moving, and absurd moments of urban life as we live it today.

Great audiobook. Firstly as a Britain I approach books read by Americans with trepidation, but Isaac has a speedy pace without too much 'draaaawl'.
The stories are deliriously filthy at times, but always painfully funny, sometimes emotional and often somehow familiar to everyday city living. Fully recommend!

Audie Award, Narration by Author, 2016. Raised by unconventional Irish Catholics who knew "how to drink, how to dance, how to talk, and how to stir up the devil", Kate Mulgrew grew up with poetry and drama in her bones. But in her mother, a would-be artist burdened by the endless arrival of new babies, young Kate saw the consequences of a dream deferred.

Absolutely enthralling, what a life Ms Mulgrew has lived. From the romance and success of voyager to the horrors of rape and the loss of loved ones, this book is a roller coaster of emotions. The delivery is exceptional, I could listen to her all day. My only gripe would be the sudden ending, which leaves a lot open ended. Here's hoping for a follow up soon :)

Jack and Michael Whitehall perform their laugh-out-loud autobiography Him & Me as a unique dual-voiced comedy audiobook, filled with ad-libs, asides, and comic dialogue to create a uniquely funny listen. Jack and Michael open up the rich and plentiful family lore archives on topics such as Jack’s nanny’s enormous feet, Michael’s lifetime touchline ban from Jack’s prep-school and the Whitehall collection of downright weird and eccentric relatives.

Absolutely brilliant. If you like Jack and his Fathers tv show you will love this book. I am very glad I got this as an audio book rather than a physical copy, this is because the audiobook allows the pair to interior each other's chapters with humorous remarks and challenges. 10/10 for hilarity, delivery and content.

Really enjoyed this book, especially the chapters on dogs and divas. No real dirt dishing and nothing too obscene or blue, quite tame really.
The reading was good and at a good pace. I look forward to hearing more narration from Mr Norton
