Terry Pratchett gave us the rose-tinted spectacles we needed to see all the colour the world has to offer. His humour is endlessly uplifting and it gives me such joy to be able to dive into his world time and again. I will never tire of the Discworld and his characters' adventures. Wyrd Sisters is certainly no exception. Celia Imrie did a fantastic job too.

Wonderful!

I adore Tessa Carr's writing style and can't wait for the next book in this series. Beautiful, funny and never bawdy. I loved it.

Thoroughly entertaining.

I loved the entire series and was sad when it was over. Can't wait to read / listen to more of M.C Beaton. I felt that the final book was a little rushed but I suppose, after six, even a creator gets a little weary of her creations.

Honest, beautiful and real.

She writes like one would expect Lorelai to; with deep and honest feeling. Loved it!

So sad there isn't much more of this.

I love Laura Solon's work. The lady from the house is a wonderful creation. As are the many other characters. I have listened to this over and over and can't wait to find more.

It's not just you!

Thanks you, My Dear Writer Chum, for making me feel normal. Or at least, less alone in my quirks. I wrapped myself in this book and drew such strength from your honesty and courage. You made me laugh right out loud and not care who was listening or looking.

Superbly written, superbly read.

Backman's tales are addictive; his characters draw you in and you find yourself eagerly investing in their story. Each interaction is so wonderfully intimate that the reader begins to feel like they are part of the story. But perhaps that is just me. In any case, I have enjoyed living on the street with Ove and his neighbours. Joan Walker's narration left nothing to be desired.

A beautiful plethora of emotions.

Fredrick Backman writes in such a simple and honest way that you don't even notice you're being engulfed by the story until you find yourself seated with tears streaming down your face in a way that only honesty and an extremely fantastic talent can make happen. I enjoyed every moment of this story and it was read so beautifully. I can't wait to hear it again and to explore his other works.

Wonderfully done.

I loved listening to it as much as I did reading it.
Fantastic story, beautifully read. So glad to have the unabridged version as there is not a part I would willingly leave out.
