A bit long winded and spoilt by having to turn the sound up to maximum every time Marsha was speaking such a slow breathy voice

What did you like best about Lost Innocence? What did you like least?

The story was good in that no concentration was required chick lit I suppose

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

A different narrator

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Anna Bentinck?

Just about anyone

Could you see Lost Innocence being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

No

Any additional comments?

Spoilt but the narrator who has a very breathy way of taking and for too many pauses. she is hopeless at accents and totally spoiled the story

Antoinette Conway, the tough, abrasive detective from The Secret Place, is still on the Murder Squad, but only just. She's partnered up with Stephen Moran now, and that's going well - but the rest of her working life isn't. Antoinette doesn't play well with others, and there's a vicious running campaign in the squad to get rid of her.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I never write reviews but as someone who always has to finish a book, the narrator made listening very hard her accent must be the worst in Ireland it was utterly appalling. The story was ok apart from rather a lot of spurious vulgarity that added nothing to the tale. Overall very disappointed.

Would you recommend The Trespasser to your friends? Why or why not?

No because of the narrator's lack of intelligible language skills

How did the narrator detract from the book?

In every way possible

Was The Trespasser worth the listening time?

No

Any additional comments?

I have like the previous books
