With a little help from a monk (who tells us how our mind works) and a neuroscientist (who tells us how our brain works), Ruby Wax answers every question you've ever had about evolution, thoughts, emotions, the body, addictions, relationships, sex, kids, the future and compassion. Filled with witty anecdotes from Ruby's own life, and backed up by smart science and practical mindfulness exercises, How to be Human is the only manual you need to help you upgrade your mind as much as you've upgraded your iPhone.

To her surprise, her former rival for the Democratic Party nomination, newly elected President Barack Obama, asked her to serve in his administration as Secretary of State. The people and advice given have some powerful messages which is the important thing to focus on with this. The downside is It sounds a lot like its own infomercial at some points with the advertising it which is a bit much to take. Would have preferred another person to be interviewed in its place. Still a good listen and am sure it will help inspire a lot of people

I loved this book when I first read it last year and when I heard that it had come out as an audio download, was intrigued as to how it would adapt to this format. Stephanie's performance really adds quality to the characters and their story, by adding emotion and feeling through the narration, which really makes you feel involved in the story. The message the story conveys is beautifully written and wonderfully narrated, I could and (will) come back to this again and again.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

This has probably been my favourite audible purchase so far, its a good solid story, but the performance is what brings it alive. Usually an audio book is just a re-reading of the book, with maybe some accents or impersonations thrown in along the way. In this though, I really felt Rosario played the character, and was Jazz. Really well written and performed.
