I enjoyed this one even more than the first book in the series. Teagan, who was a baddie in the first book, redeemed herself in this one, fully deserving her happily ever after. This was an epic story, following the couple through their dramatic relationship over many years. The high quality writing made the story zoom by.

Ava Lucas is one of the most talented narrators I’ve heard, easily navigating all the parts. She was especially good with the male characters. Excellent job!

This was a quick, fun read with just enough angst and heat. I loved the unlikely situation the couple found themselves in and the tangles they got into. The narration was absolutely top notch. Lauren Fortgang has such a beautiful voice and did a great job with all the various characters of both genres.

Colton Wild isn’t just the famous football player everyone sees on their television screen. I met Colton one summer vacation when we lined up on opposite sides of a flag football field. He was the cocky kid with clear blue eyes and a constant smirk. When he picked me up over his shoulder and ran with me the length of the field, I wanted to hate him. But somehow we were the last two left around the campfire that night. We talked for hours under the stars. And when he kissed me, I didn’t want him to stop. The next morning, I left. I thought I’d never see him again. And for ten years, I didn’t.

Colton and his skittish childhood sweetheart made an interesting couple. Their journey to a happy ever after definitely had some ups and downs. I loved Colton’s relationship with his cousins and would love to read more about them. The narration was fine although I found some of the pronunciation surprising.

I am so damn done with being the chubby doormat for my soon-to-be ex-fiancé. I changed myself for every man in my life. Except Gray--my bodyguard. Too bad he's totally not interested in getting his kink on with me. No, he's made it perfectly clear he's only here to protect me. We'll just see about that. Protect me from this, buddy. I'm going out on the town to find myself a good old-fashioned ménage.

This was one of the hottest books I’ve read. Angelina’s journey of sexual discovery and self love captured me from the first moment. I loved the contrast between the characters, the realistic insecurities, and the quirky humor. Highly recommend this one and racing to finish the story with the next book in the series.

Dear Melrose, The first time I met you, you were a stranger. The second time, you were my roommate. The third time, you made it clear you were about to become the biggest thorn my side had ever known. You sing way too loud in the shower and use all the hot water. You’re bossy as hell. You make my life all kinds of complicated. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop thinking about you. Truthfully...I can’t stop wanting you. I was going to tell you this.

I wish I could give this a perfect score. The writing was good, the story was sexy and clever, and the narration was mostly great. The issue, and it was a big one, was 1. the narrator made me cringe every time he tried to mimic a caribbean accent. it was absolutely terrible. And 2. for a book featuring Bajan characters, it would have been expected that the narrator would know how to pronounce that word, which he didn't. It was repeated enough that it made me want to put the book down many times. In respect for the writer, I kept going.

I've got dating horror stories that would curl your toes and singe your nose hairs, but none of them compare to the toad who started it all: Ellis Walker. He was the boy next door, the charming, infuriatingly gorgeous one who broke my heart and disappeared without a trace. Now, he's back and determined to throw my life into chaos, dredging up painful memories just when things were getting good. But the thing is there are always two sides to every story.

I was blown away by this book. Not familiar with this type of book, I didn't know what to expect, but I was drawn in from the beginning. Award's tone is snarky, funny, and oh so funny. This book had the perfect amount of paranormal and human, sprinkled with blazing hot sex scenes. The curvy girl gets her hunky guy and I was cheering for them the whole time. I also loved the narration as well. Gwen Cross did a great job with the wide range of characters and had a really pleasing slight drawl.
