On Nonviolent Communication, this renowned peacemaker presents his complete system for speaking our deepest truths, addressing our unrecognized needs and emotions, and honoring those same concerns in others. With this adaptation of the best-selling book of the same title, Marshall Rosenberg teaches in his own words.

I don't review many, perhaps 2 in every 100, but this will not disappoint. Only suggestion would be to run the speed at 120% as Marshall spoke a little slow. I will defiantly be trying to use this in my day to day conversations and look forward to connecting with folk and minimise misunderstandings ... Enjoy

Money is the key to happiness. Work hard, play hard. Look out for number one. Popular culture is full of phrases like these, telling us the best way to live, the right things to buy, the right body shape to have, the right people to hang out with. These messages are everywhere we look, 24 hours a day. But what if there was another way to live? What if we chose to live differently: to stand against injustice, to live life for more than just ourselves, to dare to be unpopular?

In one cataclysmic moment, millions around the globe disappear during "the rapture". Those left behind are destined to face war, famine, plagues, and natural disasters so devastating that only one in four people will survive. Odds are even worse for enemies of the Antichrist and his new world order. Rayford Steele, Buck Williams, Bruce Barnes, and Chloe Steele band together to form the Tribulation Force.

Druss, Captain of the Axe: the stories of his life were told everywhere. Instead of the wealth and fame he could have claimed, he had chosen a mountain lair, high in the lonely country bordering on the clouds. There the grizzled old warrior kept company with snow leopards and awaited his old enemy, death.

This is easily in my top 3 book of all time, so when it appeared I greedily snapped it up. The characters, story, ending live long in the memory, Druss particularly will keep you listening. Lastly the narrator has turned in a top notch performance .. enjoy

Arthur Wesley (the future Duke of Wellington) was born and bred to be a leader. With a firm belief that the nation must be led by a king, the red-coated British officer heads for battle against the French Republic, to restore the fallen monarchy. Napoleon Bonaparte joins the French military on the eve of the Revolution. He believes leadership is won by merit, not by noble birth. When anarchy explodes in Paris, he's thrust into the revolutionary army poised to march against Britain.

Historical fiction is my favourite genre and this is right out of the top draw. Great narration also and the switching of focus between the Duke and Napoleon is well handled.
