never felt so detached and disinterested in a selection of characters. the tone of the reader was monotonous. as an avid audible books member this one really disappointed. even if the story had some structure I could have coped but it was all over the place hours I'll never get back.

Not my type of thriller. I I really enjoy Baldaccis other books where there is a central Character ; 1 Puller series ,2 Decker & 3 Robie with these you get a good back story and develop empathy with each and the plots twist and turn and books are real page burners.. This conspiracy theory nonsence was tedious and the Camel club just did not. inspire me to. delve further into their characters. e I stoped reading at 20% thankfullyAudible do credit refunds.
ill try his new female detective and take it from there !!

the brutal honesty of the authors life experience as a NHS doctor is unnerving and really puts the reader into his shoes as he experiences the highs and all to many lows as a trainee and the following 6 years as a junior doctor
It is as much educational as a thought provoking story a must read

I havent enjoyed a horror book as much in a long time the characters are well developed and the setting was just perfect. The subtle build up of tension is timed to perfection and the explosive ending brings the story to a satisfactory conclusion it doesnt need a twist It is a well told well written and chilling story of Two families and their complicated intertwined relationshilp.
