As a demi-goddess, Wyn has always stood out from the human crowd. And now, on her 22nd birthday, her magic finally surfaces with a bang. A big bang. She'll need the help of not one, but four (sexy) Guardians to control her destructive powers. If only they weren't so distracting.... Her mother, the Winter Queen, waits for Wyn in the Realms of Gods, but there are enemies who will try and prevent her from ever reaching the Realms, even if that means going to war.

I struggled to listen to this. No offence to narrator but your voice is nothing like any Scottish person I know. And research scotland better. No one would drive out west before they headed north etc.
Loved the magic parts of the story line, but did not enjoy due to incorrect parts of story and not Scottish narrator

Kingmaker. Soothsayer. Warrior. Mage. Kingdoms would rise and fall for her...if she is ever found. In the icy North, where magic is might, an all-powerful elite ruthlessly guided by a glacial Queen have grown to dominate the world. Now rebellion is stirring in the rough, magic-poor South, where for the first time in memory a warlord has succeeded in uniting the tribal nations. Stuck in the middle is Cat - circus performer and soothsayer - safely hidden behind heavy makeup, bright colours and the harmless illusion of the circus. Until someone suspects she's more than she seems....

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. Earth has been invaded by a species that takes over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect.

Love this story and well read. But it was the wrong voice. I know Wanda is an older spirit, but she is in the body of a young woman. Always expected her to have a young person's voice.
