I enjoyed the second book in the series and found it very difficult to stop reading or listening. I liked reading as the story continued and the love triangle continued. I loved reading about America and Maxon and found myself wanting the next time they would meet and America would realise her true feelings for Maxon. I did find America a bit annoying at times as she seemed to keep dragging them both along a bit too much. I found it was also a great book as you start to learn alot more about the other girls in the selection.
It was a great book cannot wait to continue in the series and find out what happens next. Xxx

I love this ending to the hunger games as Katniss wakes up in district 13. She has alot to adjust to as she struggles to recover from the last quarter quell. Katniss must try to pull herself together as the war with her and Snow intensifies with Peeta stuck in the middle. I loved this story as she struggles to hold herself together, loving parts like how Katniss and the other victors like Finnick helped each other. Then the final battle begins with Katniss and the others fighting to get to Snow to kill him. I loved Katniss though it annoyed me slightly that it took soo long to admit that she loved Peeta. A great end to the story which I am sad to see the end of. x definitely a story I would recommend x

This is a re- read and loved it even more this time. Even with it being a re-read I still didn't want to stop reading and listening. I loved the main characters Katniss and Peeta, finding myself warming alot towards Katniss as she tried to figure out her feelings for Peeta and Gale.
This book is even more intense than the first book as President Snow sets to get revenge on Katniss if she does not calm the rebellion brewing in the districts. With what better way than the Quarter Quell, and the 75th games sets to be one of the worse. With Katniss and Peeta determined to make sure the other survives. However things never are easy and the clock is ticking in this great story. I really enjoyed listening and reading this story again. Definitely a series I would recommend. Xxx

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

This is a re- read and loved it as much this time as the last time. Even with it being a re-read I still didn't want to stop reading and listening. I loved the main characters Katniss and Peeta, liking Peeta more through the book though. I found Katniss a bit cold sometimes and found it a bit annoying that she was so blind to the depth of Peetas feelings for her. With that and the intense reading of the hunger games it is a great read.
This was a great story that I really enjoyed listening and reading the first story again. Definitely a series I would recommend. Xxx

Black beauty- I read this when I was younger and forgot what a good story it is. The story is told from the viewpoint if Black Beauty. He talks you through his life from his nice upbringing. Beauty is gentle and well mannered horse but he does find himself in dark times with some of his owners. The story has some sad parts as you find out what happens to some of his friends like Ginger. It makes you think of how animals are treated for the sake of fashion and because of their appearance. It is a really insightful book and found that listening to it as an audiobook helped with the kind of autobiography feel of Beautys story. Definitely a book I would recommend and listen/read again. Another great book in the series with Jill having to deal with many different problems. With a new detective stopping her from going anywhere near the detective she likes. With a murder to investigate and the witch competition to sort she has her hands full. I found this a light hearted read with lots of funny moments in it. Esecially when Winky communicates by a helicopter and her grandma, its a funny good read.

This was a good story in the series prefering it to the previous book. In this book Jill is rushed off her feet again. She has a hit and run and a missing holiday fund to investigate,a love sick cat, a hen do, and her dead mums wedding. Her life is definitely interesting, I found it was quite a nice easy read. Think the investigating part could have flowed a bit better as at times it seemed a bit jumpy but was a good read that I would recommend

Another cute quirky book, a great series if you just want a light read. Jill has got her hands full as she investigates a murder, the theft of two trophies and a missing cat. The plot was a bit predictable but it was still a good light read. With more funny antics from her family, though I think her sister Kathy is annoying with how manipulative she is towards Jill. A good read though if you just want a light witch book.

I really enjoyed this story i found it funny and quirky. Jill is struggling as a PI when she finds out that she is a witch. Then suddenly her life starts to change with a family that want to get to know her, including the ghost of her mum and powers that are beginning to show. With a talking sarcastic one eyed cat and a serial killer on the loose its a funny read. I found this was a light read that was quite funny at times. It is not a very serious series but a nice easy read. Think I will continue in the series and see what happens next.

This was a good end to the series though I was sad to see the end of the series. This story is about Hannah who is found by the fetching spell. She has been in a home because of her visions, with her doctor running out of options to help her. Witch Central try and help her find a way to handle her magic. I loved reading about Hannah as she tried to have a normal life. A good end to the series though sad to read the end of Witch central.. xxx
