Really enjoyed my time listening to Knock Out, Those who have read the other books in the Level Up Series will know of Crybaby Mikey, but don't worry if you haven't it is a complete stand alone book!

Following Mike's journey from a nervous bumbling idiot to a jacked up MMA fighter is fun and has lots of twists and turns. The one downside to the book is that Mike seems to be only attracted to the worst kind of women which in places makes you want to slap some sense into the MC. I do see why its included however as it really helps to outline MIke's self worth from start to finish!

Very enjoyable 3rd instalment!

Fantastic final instalment in the initial trilogy.

I felt every story arch that was able to be followed through to conclusion were where possible, don't get me wrong the ending is still fantastic and left me with lots of new questions! Dan Sugralinov also managed to capture just the right amount of emotion - hard to explain unless you read / listen. Closing out of some characters will make you feel a bit sad and a bit happy for the most part.

There was a nice nod to the Side series of books with the inclusion of Crybaby, not really sure why the interface got his name wrong still? but that's probably just me and im sure i will understand once i start/finish up Level Up: Knock Out.

Unexpected enjoyable listen!

First off, if your into LitRPG or Science Fiction Novels, i can't recommend this enough.

I read the Synopsis a while ago but didn't pick it up when i realised it was a translated book, usually with such books they are either poorly translated or very politically heavy in their MC's attitude towards their country of origin. I was bored with a credit to burn so thought why not give it a try. WOW very well written / translated for a start (I only noticed one wrong word used in the entire thing).

From a story POV its fun, clever and draws you into Phil's world.

To many times when reading or listening to a book series, the middle book leaves a lot to be desired and is a plot filler. I can happily say this is not the case here. Solid instalment into the series, somehow Shemer makes crafting work where so many authors have failed. Well done.

With the amount of books in this series, i expected Book 2 to be filler and character building only. Unexpected Plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat and hooked until the very end. Great Listen Overall!

A great addition to the New Era Online Series, as always its hard to give the review justice without spoilers, so will leave all story elements out.

Two things different on this last book performance wise:

- Narrators voice would suddenly increase/decrease in tone at places, i noticed during the tone increases it almost sounded like a different person, but i think it was the same person lacking the emotion of the lines as they were added afterwards?

- Sound Effects were a nice edition, the first one was unexpected and scared the Shadow Crap out of me!

WOW! Just WOW!

I'm a big fan of audio books like RPO etc, I've tried a few LitRPG's and i always enjoy them to begin with, but then end up not finishing them, as the story's become tiresome half way through.

This book is a breath of fresh air and the first LitRPG i was hooked to throughout. I can't recommend it enough.
All the game elements are well thought out and it avoid's all the cliche MMO story lines. It's hard to do it justice without giving spoilers.

What made the experience of listening to Survival Quest the most enjoyable?

Jonathan Yen's voice acting was fantastic

What other book might you compare Survival Quest to, and why?

It's similar to Ready Player One where everyone plays within a full-body immersive MMO.

What did you like most about Ready Player One?

To many to name in honesty, the story is brilliant, the characters are engaging and Wil Wheaton's Narration is top notch!

What other book might you compare Ready Player One to, and why?

I haven't listened or read anything like it before. I was recommended to listen to it by a friend who said the future of mmo gaming in a fantasy fiction novel. So i'll just leave that one here.

What does Wil Wheaton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Having Read the book after listening to it, i must say he brings every character to life, expressing their emotions and the settings beautifully.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really, the whole book was just enjoyable start to finish.

Any additional comments?

CHEESE! The book is a little Cheesy so remember that going into it!
