Im flagging now, on the last few chapters but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. The plot, setting, character formation and narrative arc are all done superbly. A brilliant read - even better when I bought it on offer.

This dazzling memoir promises to be a courageously frank, honest and poignant read. It will detail some of Fry's most turbulent and least-well-known years, with writing that will excite you, make you laugh uproariously, move you, inform you, and, above all, surprise you.

Warm, funny and wonderfully endearing without being nauseatingly smug! I loved it. I dislike autobiographical writing, but this was just like chatting with a friend over coffee.
