The third fantasy adventure in the Percy Jackson series is now available to download, complete and unabridged, on audio. It's the last Friday before the winter holidays but Percy Jackson isn't at school: he's battling the fearsome Manticore (half human, half lion), which in itself isn't ideal . . . but with Annabeth missing and the goddess of the hunt held captive, things get a whole lot more serious . . . Greek mythology relocated to modern-day America.

This is a great story and I absolutely love all of Rick Riordans books, but I feel a bit let down by the reader. He constantly mispronounces easy words and messes up names; his accent also makes it difficult to tell which character is meant to be speaking. Although the reading is pretty bad, the good story story of makes up for it. I would recommend doing a remastered version with a different reader so that the experience is more enjoyable 😊

For new girl Darrell Rivers, there are friends to be made, pranks to be played and fun to be had at Malory Towers in Enid Blyton's best-loved boarding school series. In audiobook one, new girl Darrell is two terms behind her classmates and feels out of place and alone. Soon, however, Darrell makes friends as well as enemies as they induct new students, win and lose sporting matches and play tricks on teachers. Expect drama at Malory Towers!
