This really is a very good story ,truly original time travel concept , almost torture in a way.
There is a love story in there (men be warned ) but it is integral to the plot and not gratuitous or slushy.
Very well read indeed .. I went to bed early Friday because I was tired . I was still listening at 3.40 am . I just finished it at 12.15 am .
It’s quite an old book but not dated however it’s not the start of a series as is the case these days .
I would give the story and the narration a solid ten out of ten .

Terry Pratchett would have loved this

I don’t wanna give any of the plot away. There is certain elements of si fi in this story but no intergalactic fleets of cyborgs.
The story line is gripping unusual and well written, I didn’t see the end until it arrived . The narration was very good and I would recommend this story to anybody . It has a fresh and original plot line.

I have an interest in palaeontology but I hoped that this book would be useful for dropping off to sleep with at the end of the day as well as listening to in the car.

It is extremely well read very interesting highly informative and I don’t listen to at nights anymore I’m learning so much from this book I’m really glad I purchased it

I had heard that Mr Cleese had become curmudgeonly in his old-age. This doesn’t appear to be the case. I found his story interesting friendly open and amusing it was a pleasure to listen to and I heartily recommend it to anybody who has an interest in his life .

I don’t suppose you can be the dominant species by throwing parties for all our woodland friends .
I’m fairly well informed and this is a hard book to listen too .
I recommend you do and if enough people do it’ll help.
This book is not didactic or alarmist ,it is very informative and it will make you think .

The best autobiography I've listened to !

Robert Webb is unbendingly open and I'd assume honest in this book . He is thought provoking and brutally frank about his mistakes .
He talks of his achievements without bragging and has some interesting points to make . Without spoilers I admire what he's done from his childhood until now . I listened to this book with my full attention at all times , it's sad in places and really funny in others . I've been recommending this to all my friends from twenty minutes in .

Mr Collins has had a interesting life and puts it all down with open honest cander.
This is one of those books you have to listen to above all others once started.
That author has penned a fast paced book and read it will.
As Phil says himself he was all over everywhere for slightly to long. But I've re visited his music after the book and it ain't bad.
If I ever bump into him if I'd buy him a lemonade. Cheers

I like Sue Perkins very much now ,obviously I quite liked her before .
As autobiography's go it's a good un .
She reads her book well however as anyone who is in middle age there is some tragedy as well as humor .
Sue tells her story in a way that brings a lot of smiles ,chuckles and belly laughs and it was my go to audio book until it was hoover'ed up crumbs an all .

I laughed twice . I really thought this would be good as I really like parks and recreation . But for the most part it's a none stop name check of U S tv names and very dull . Sorry Amy
