Comedian and broadcaster Susan Calman danced her way across our screens and into our hearts for 10 weeks on Strictly Come Dancing 2017, but how did this ability to find joy change her life? Susan Calman's enthusiasm at being on Strictly Come Dancing was an inspiration to all of us. Cheer Up Love, Susan's first book, had a clear aim: to help people understand depression. Sunny Side Up has a similarly clear path: to persuade people to be kinder to each other and spread more joy.

A beautifully simple yet profound theme weaves it way through Susan’s new book - remembering that the simple pleasure of life and being a good human being can bring joy and hope.
It may seem too good to be true, but listening to the change that she has gone through since her last book is a lovely thing.

Hello there. Welcome to my autobiography. Throughout this audiobook I talk about my life and work, including Little Britain, Come Fly with Me, Bridesmaids, Les Miserables, Alice in Wonderland and, of course, Shooting Stars. The thing is, this is a bit different to most memoirs you may have listened to, because it comes in the form of an A-Z. Anyway, I hope you buy it at least twice. Thank you.

It started great and his early life was very interesting however as it went on it became a bit of a luvvy-fest. How many names could he drop -clang!
It also got repetitive and a little dull as he seemed to run out of new things to talk about; like repeating how successful his appearance in Bridesmaids was for the umpteenth time. His experience and stories of working in the tv and film industry is a little off putting and makes him come across as a little spoilt and precious.

The stand-up comedian of his generation. Star of stage and screen. Tireless supporter of charity. Runner. Political campaigner. Fashion icon. Human. There is no one quite like Eddie Izzard. This is the story of how a boy who wanted to become a professional footballer and win the lead in Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat found comedy.

You're going to either love it or hate it!! You get your money's worth for sure.
All the extra bits that you wouldn't get in the book of you read is what makes it enjoyable. As a book I suspect it would be quite boring, but with Eddies footnotes, more footnotes and extended footnotes, you basically have a stand up routine that is hours long. Good for a long drive 👍
