I enjoyed listening to this urban fantasy tale. A respite from my usual genre of choice. I like that this story feels more adult compared to Fantasy that I used to read.
Both main characters have strong personality and the clash was inevitable, but so was them ending up together, despite the challenges.
It's a fun read. Strong dose of profanity and steamy content. But it is fun!
Kate Marcin did great with her narration on this one.

I was prepared for another roller coaster ride of emotions with this one. I was a bit relieved that it wasn't what I was expecting. I laughed out loud a few times on some parts, the banter and comebacks are on point!

Ethan and Charlie's story reminds of romantic comedy movies but their characters are more defined, maybe scarred. But their happy ending is very much well-deserved.

I enjoy a light daddy kink. This one feels just right. Michael, stellar job, as usual!

Make no mistake, take a listen and enjoy! ^_^

What an emotional roller coaster this story took me! I'm not usually a BDSM story listener but for some reason, this one got me riveted. The story is gripping, complex and rich in plot. I enjoyed Marek and Ryan's character development and their relationship development too. They're what each other needed and that makes me stick with the story and makes the Dom/sub relationship work just right.

Michael Ferraiuolo's excellent narration gave justice to the story. The accent! He's always been amazing though.

So this is about Cody’s story, his chance for HEA after his best friends finally got theirs.

With all that said, Cody drove me batcrap crazy in this book. While I understand insecurities, I don’t understand his blatant rejection towards Adrian when he actually liked the guy. His age discrimination sounded cruel at times. I know he didn’t mean it as such, and it was his insecurities showing, but Cody really got in his own way. It drove me nuts. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thankfully, he pulled his head out of his own you-know-what and finally got his ish together.

I adore Adrian, he’s a teddy bear and I admire his tenacity. What a brave soul, he kept pursuing even after all the rejection. 💖 He deserved to be happy.

When they finally got together, it was wonderful. Sweet and I was yelling at Cody “seeee!! This is what you’d have missed if you didn’t get your crap together. Now, be happy!” 😂

Apart from the unnecessary angst that Cody put upon himself and Adrain, it’s a wonderful listen. Michael Pauley is always on point with his skills.

Give this book a chance, if Cody drives you up the wall too, keep listening. I promise you, it’s worth it.

Just wow. 💖

There could possibly be not enough words to describe how amazing this book truly is. The premise is so unique, so interesting and captivating. Leta Blake and Indra Vaughn took a second-chance friends-to-lovers love story to a different level by adding a unique twist -- one is a rock star and the other an openly gay priest.

I didn't know what to expect when I first started listening to this book. I was curious to see where the writers will take Nicky and Jasper... it seemed a whole lot of "too little too late". I love how the authors wrote this book with so much "realness" in it and I love how the characters evolved through the story. Jasper's faith was so admirable, it was steadfast and unrelenting. But so is his love for his best friend. Nicky's growth as a person who struggled with his own cage, it was amazing watching him learn to consciously open up and learn to accept love from people who truly love him. Once the two got together, it was so beautiful. All the feels!

The story felt like it was a bit slow in the beginning but once it picked up, it became more and more fascinating and you'll find it hard to find a stopping place. The flow of the story and conflict resolution was straight on, there were no unnecessary going back and forth. I love that! I listened to this 14-hour audiobook in one sitting. It was super worth it.

Michael Ferraiuolo's narration was so on point. He purred, prayed in Latin, and was just downright awesome in this book.

Listen to it. You'll find that you wish it was longer (and it's already a 14-hour book)!

This is my first Emma Alcott book and I absolutely love it!

This book pulled so many emotions from me: from empathy for young Marshall, to really mad at Fox’s mother, to more empathy and heartbreak for Fox’s struggles and to admiration for Marshall for rising above all things thrown at him, to laughing so hard while I was running errands I was getting strange looks.

I also love the way Emma Alcott wrote Fox’s struggle with PTSD. It was hard to hear, but at the same time, made us all aware of what it’s like and made us understand the struggle. Those parts of the book are written with finesse quite well.

I. Love. This. Book! JF Harding’s narration was so perfect. Oh that growl he does for Fox and Marshall’s sassy tone, it’s absolutely perfect.

I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. If this is a series, I’m already impatiently waiting for the next one. 💕😘

Absolutely Perfect!

I remember reading this book. I remember getting so absorbed in the scenes, in the emotions that the book is wringing out of me. And all those memories came back rushing in as I listen to Greg Boudreaux brings the story to life. His skills, unparalleled. The unique and distinct voices of each character, it just brings a different layer to an already magnificent story/series.

This book in particular has it all, the humor, the heat level up the scales, action, suspense and all the characters we fell in love with. It also pull your heartstrings. This is an amazing conclusion book to this series.

and then I remember wishing there was more because I'll miss Jaime and Kyle... (Well, the novellas, they're pretty amazing too!)

Friends, get the Metahuman Files books, read them and then, get the audio books and listen to them. It is worth the time and the credits.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Oh wow. What an interesting take on the tales of the Camelot. I'm a big fan of Victoria Sue's other urban fantasy series and I'm happy this one did not disappoint. The world building in this one is quite enchanting. The characters are well developed and very interesting. And romance, the romance. Also the story, the world is complex and really interesting.

Ms Sue is a master storyteller, that's a given, but in tandem with a great narrator like Greg Boudreaux makes this audiobook worth all the stars and credit!

This is my first E. Davies read and I enjoyed it. I love his writing style & the way the story unfolded.

Changed Hart is a slow-burn romance between Rain and Colt, two individuals who has an undeniable chemistry, but who are also finding their way & trying to start their lives independently.

I have not read the first book of this series, but I am loving the small town family drama, the secrets, the intrigue and revelations. It fits with the setting and the family dynamics is unique.

Colt & Rain are hot together, after all that tension and slow burn. 🔥

I’m going to go back and listen to the first book, I need the whole tea with what Floyd did and how that came to be... Floyd’s on my sh*tlist. Then I’ll keep reading/listening to the rest of the series.

Hart’s Bay sounds like a perfect coastal town series I can get hooked to, there’s the ideal location, the residents and the adventures as their lives unfold. 💕

Greg Boudreaux does not disappoint as he brings the characters to life with his narration. Always excellent with his skills. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Elle Keaton is a new-to-me author, combined with Michael Pauley as a narrator (my favorite!), I was really excited to listen to this book.

There's more crime mystery than romance. It felt like Ms. Keaton is setting up and introducing us to the MCs. There's a lot of backstory with these two spanning from when they were young. They are both flawed and we are digging deep into their character. Somehow, they both just seem to fit together. It's a HFN. I just know it'll be epic once they are 100% together.

It is a slow burn romance.. sometimes, it felt very slow. So if you're looking for more romance, this book won't fit that category. Maybe the second book? Since this a start to a series.. I'm looking forward to the next one.
