On a hot midsummer night in Discworld, everything seems perfect - crop circles are turning up everywhere, the witch Magrat Garlick is getting married the next morning, and everyone's buzzing with excitement. Unfortunately, the Lancre All-Comers Morris Team has gotten drunk on a fairy mound, and the elves have returned with the traditional traits of the magical realm of Fairie: evil, malice, murder, cruelty, and kidnapping.

What could be easier than preventing a servant girl from marrying a prince, especially for three clever witches? But Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick face more than they bargained for when they journey to the distant city of Genua. For one thing, their power is limited to Mrs. Gogol's weak voodoo spells, a one-eyed cat, and a secondhand magic wand that works only on pumpkins.

Another brilliant title from master story teller Mr Pratchett, RIP, I find myself addicted to listening to the wonderful characters he created performed well by Nigel Planer.

After a violent civil war and the devastation wrought by the now-fallen Darth Caedus, the Galactic Alliance is in crisis and in need. From all corners, politicians, power brokers, and military leaders converge on Coruscant for a crucial summit to restore order, negotiate differences, and determine the future of their unified worlds. But even more critical, and far more uncertain, is the future of the Jedi.

First time I've listened to or read this series, and despite being a bit slow to start, it soon kicks off and drags you in just as any good Star Wars book should.
I would recommend to fans of the extended universe

Mightily Oats has not picked a good time to be a priest. He thought he'd come to the mountain kingdom of Lancre for a simple little religious ceremony. Now he's caught between vampires and witches, and he's not sure there is a right side.

The second novel set in the Old Republic era and based on the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic ramps up the action and brings listeners face-to-face for the first time with a Sith warrior to rival the most sinister of the Order’s Dark Lords: Darth Malgus, the mysterious, masked Sith of the wildly popular “Deceived” and “Hope” game trailers. Malgus brought down the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in a brutal assault that shocked the galaxy....

A brilliant tale from the old Republic, excellently acted, with one of the best villains yet to be introduced by the Star Wars universe.
