It was supposed to be the perfect holiday, dreamed up by Kate as the ideal way to turn 40: four best friends and their husbands and children in a luxurious villa under the blazing sunshine of Languedoc-Roussillon. But there is trouble in paradise. Kate suspects that her husband is having an affair, and that the other woman is one of her best friends. One of these women is willing to sacrifice years of friendship and destroy her family. I was not sure what to expect, and thought it may be the usual predictive holiday thriller....BUT so very pleasantly surprised, so many twists and turns that drew you in, with mostly likeable characters. The narration was brilliant, with narrator moving from male to female to child seamlessly and with real feeling that you can relate to. Would definitely recommend ....enjoy ..

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there. There's no explanation, no website - just a grainy image and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make?

Gripping storyline and well narrated. Had me eager to fit in chapters if I had a few minutes.... the story evolves around Zoe and her very ordinary life With her family and friends, and commute to work - or is it?
Who is watching you and knows your routine and movements every time you are commuting by train to your job in the city ... is it someone you know. The conclusion is a cracker!
