- Length: 11 hrs and 45 mins
When Special Agent Will Robie gets the call to make his first visit home since he was a teenager, it's because his father, the local judge, has been arrested for murdering a man who came before him in court. The small, remote Mississippi town hasn't changed, and its residents remember Robie as a wild sports star and girl magnet. He left a lot of hearts broken and a lot of people angry. Will and his father, Dan, are estranged, and his mother left years ago.
A Good Read, But Not Baldacci's Best.

Will to the rescue
What made the experience of listening to The Guilty the most enjoyable?
As always the narrator was very good. I have read all the Will Robie series and this one did not disappoint. The Guilty is right up there with the best. I loved the fact that Will was going back to his home town and the story kept me guessing right up until the last few chapters. All in all another Baldacci great!
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favourite character, as always, was Will Robie. I just love him.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
I honestly cannot pick out a favourite as they were all good and blended into an excellent story.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Small town justice
