Lady Isabella Porter and Lord Gerard Malden have known each other since they were children. Isabella thinks of Gerard as someone who teased her unmercifully and made her feel inadequate as a young girl. But Gerard has loved Isabella for many years. A sudden, fierce snowstorm and misplaced notes informing both of a change of plan mean Isabella and Gerard are forced to spend the Christmas holidays together. Gerard realizes he must use the time he's been given with Isabella to change the opinions she formed as a girl so she may look upon him with favor and lasting affection.

I LOVE regency stories so couldn't wait to lap this one up! Its short and sweet and just how I like my historical romance. Isabella and Gerard get stuck at a house over Christmas due to inclement weather (with some staff and a chaperone obviously) they have known each other since they were young children and they have a history of Gerard teasing Isabella. I won't spoil it by giving away the rest of the story but it is basically about Gerard trying to show Isabella how much he loves her and her coming to terms with her real feelings. The story is beautifully set in the period with lovely little festive touches that make it feel like you could be there watching them. It's like a cosy blanket romance so if that's what you like you won't be disappointed. The narration was good, with appropriate voices for the characters and good pacing, it definitely added something extra to just reading the book yourself, letting you just sit back and enjoy the story! I would def read more books by this author and narrator.

I liked this story from the description it was the sort of thing I like to read. The characters were interesting and had thoughtful and capturing back stories. The sexy bits were ok if a bit corse for me. The narration was good with easily definable voices for all the characters. Overall this was a fun listen but personally I would’ve preferred a bit more fleshing out of the story and romance parts.

I don't usually read this genre as I prefer real life romance but this was amazing! The story was interesting and fast paced so it kept you wanting to listen to what happens next. The characters were likeable and you felt invested in them from the very beginning. I loved the instant spark between Luna and Parker and I loved the fantasy world that Yolanda has created in my mind. Be warned its part of a series but I feel invested enough in this story to read the next part, this part of the story doesn't feel even halfway through its story so I feel like this could be a long running series to get to the HEA (if there is one!)

I will start by saying I love menage stories and if you do to then you will love this one! I felt the beginning of the story started a bit abruptly, I would've liked a bit more background to the characters and their history especially for Eve as I felt as the story progressed we understood Cole and Ren and their motives a little better than for Eve. Having said that the story was fairly short and got to the sexy bits quite quickly, and then there were lots of sexy bits! I loved that each sexual encounter was quite different (not like some stories where you feel like its the same over and over!) and they were beautifully and tastefully written. I fell in love with Cole and Ren and really felt their journeys and emotions. Overall I loved the story and the audio being read by three different narrators was excellent, great voices where you could almost see the characters in your mind. I would definitely listen to a book from this author again.

I loved every twist, I loved the characters, I loved the settings, I loved the story telling, suspense and surprises! I loved the narration - Aaron was perfect and I loved listening to his telling Jonas's side of his story and his love and passion for the love of his life. I don't want to spoil anything and give anything away but if you like hot, romantic suspense stories then this is a must for you! I will definitely be reading more of Gina's work in the future!

Wow this trilogy just gets better and better! Will try not to post any spoilers but basically this whole book is set in Paris which is such a great setting and I can feel and smell this amazing city through Gina's writing. Secrets are still being told and kept throughout this book and they keep you on the edge of your seat throughout, you just have no idea who is who and who you (or Julia) can trust! Phew I'm exhausted listening to this one it felt like a rollercoaster ride and you don't manage to get off at the end you have to follow onto the next and last book in the trilogy to (hopefully!) get your answers but I'm just betting they will be worth waiting for. I love a romance suspense but even this has me I constantly trying to guess the surprises before they come but also I want to be surprised. I wanted to hate some of the characters in this story (particularly Jonas) but I just can't, I feel like love is always driving him to do what he does, I just hope when we hear his side I'm proven correct.

This was a great story full of intrigue and secrets that you know are going to come out but you aren't quite sure what they are! I felt the story started a little slow but it made you fall in love with Julia and some of the side characters so I think the gradual build was necessary to keep you invested. I will say that you don't get the answers to any of your questions in this book so you will definitely need to listen on to the next story in this series otherwise it will drive you mad! There was just enough balance to the romance and sexy bits for me in relation to the story. Tracy Marks did a fantastic job of bringing all the characters voices to life with a bit of drama in all the right places! Can't wait to listen to the next one now.

This isn't my usual genre but I wanted to give historical romance a go and this is a great introduction! The story was perfect just what you would want and expect, very hot, masculine men and beautiful but feisty and strong women. I loved the progressing love story with the element of the mystical and enough momentum and action to keep me interested. The narration wasn't quite the quality I am used to but the story didn't suffer as a result. Would like to read more in this series.

What made the experience of listening to A Gentleman's Bidding the most enjoyable?

As a reader that loves Pride and Prejudice as well as new adult romances I found this book to be a beautiful blend of both genres. The storyline kept my interest throughout with some great twists and wonderful characters. I love my romance with a bit of angst and this was just the right amount to keep me reading whilst having a temporary tear in my heart for the characters. Emily, the green lady, was a wonderful heroine, strong and clever and beautiful, whilst James was perfectly deep, honourable and passionate. The side characters in this were a great added bonus being very valuable to the storyline whilst also keeping their integrity as having their own stories throughout which I loved! Overall this was an amazing story I will definitely read again and recommend to all.
