this fills in the story of the connection between the two characters, before the Amazon TV series.
there's a underlying feeling of sadness that it's mirroring what's happening now around us. change the nationality of the people and are we so different.

Terry Pratchett was genuinely blessed with the imagination and word power to transform the world into a magical universe where we can be happy and laugh. Thank you Sir Terry, you are missed by so many.

a well read story of a future with gladiatorial contests/American football games. get the head off the shoulders of nominated opposing player and get it through the goal posts to score. but no one gets killed? Until now. it maybe the future, but history gets repeated.

it might have been better if it had been a full length book? Even though I am Rivers of London fan, I found it hard going. it could be a great expansion, but it needs a longer build up.

very well narrated, keeps you guessing and needing /wanting to listen just a little longer...
Aoife McMahon is a perfect narrator for this tragic thrilling bewilderment, that is The Hoarder.
a bit of the Irish is greatly appreciated in the telling of a good tale.

Faith needs to stop repeating every five minutes, facts about the story. I started thinking the audio was acting like a scratched record. if the story was allowed to develop at a normal rate it would be greater!. looking forward to the next book. but if it's like this. I will be returning it.

A truly unique story, that had me hooked from the first chapter. without giving away the plot. I left hoping that I would do the right thing, if this comes about.
