From start to finish this story had me hooked. Plenty of plot twists and turns which, being from the master, contains countless Easter eggs. Highly recommend this.

Aron has a natural storytelling voice. Listening to him narrate this experience encourages us, the Iistener, to journey with him through Canyonlands National Park with him . To experience the joy and the solitude with Aron. To experience the subsequent accident and entrapment as surely as though it is you, the listener, who is trapped by the chok stone. Stranger you feel not pity nor sorrow for Aron but rather hope and strength. You believe that your positive thoughts and vibes will aid this young man in to finding a way to free himself from the rock and help him return to the ones he loves. This is not a tale of a hero but simply that of a young man who's passion for the outdoors has lead him to this place. An extreme situation and an even more extreme solution.

Narrated by how many??

This is supposed to be narrated by various. It sounds to me like it is narrated by one person and a VERY bored person at that. I loved the Kindle book and in my wisdom thought what a good idea to buy the audio - big mistake, huge! Keep trying to plow my wat through this piece of audio vomit but its torture. DONOT WASTE YOUR CREDIT ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP

My first thought? The only thing missing is the preface 'once upon a time'.

If not for the Wonderfully entertaining narrator Bronson Pinchot, I would have given this up after CH 3.

I've been a CR for more than 30 yrs and hope to continue for many more. Unfortunately this tale is more Grimms Fairy Tales than Stephen king. Therefore, I suggest that only fans of YA fantasy attempt this book. CRs STAY AWAY!!!

My thoughts? Bronson Pinchot you get a 10. Stephen king you get a -10

Great choice of narrator for The Langoliers. Not so great the rest. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed all 4 novellas but I felt that Willem Dafoe was the only one who put his heart in to his narration. I love all 4 stories in here. Put it this way, I just plain LOVE Stephen King. A must have for any constant reader

Unfortunately I seem to be a bit obsessed with this book and a certain clown entity. Part has to do with the new film but mostly I just live the story. Not for the faint hearted and at pushing 45 hours long it is a bit of a dedication. Well worth it though. Steven Weber does a wonderful job of the characters and voices.

This was one of the very first SK books I read 34 years ago. Forgot how good it was. Well narrated, full of twists and turns.

The physically book is my go to book but it is torture listening to this narrator. All her 'voices' are exactly the same. Nora you're one of my favorite novelists along with Stephen King but this was a terrible adaptation of my favorite book

Well done Master. SK strikes again!! 10/10 to Craig Wasson . The best non-horror book ever written.
