Anna Friel needs to stop swallowing so loud when she’s telling the story. I’ve listened to over 100 audio books and never have I heard this before!! Her voice and expression is great but this is so off putting I found myself shouting “shut up” on numerous occasions!
The story is good, a good insight into the mind of the main character but the constant swallowing ruined the overall experience

She begins writing and holds back nothing: sharing the thoughts she hadn't dared vocalize, the things that keep her awake at night and haunt her waking hours.

I'm lost for words !! Breathtaking, dark, funny, sad .... an amazing narration brings this book to life with ease and it's not very often I message my author sister telling her she MUST get this !
You can't stop racing though wanting to know the next steps that are to arise. I felt that the narrator actually was the main character and that is always a great sign !
