I like Alan Watts. Gotta hand it to him, back in the day boggling minds was a walk in the park for him or a walk in a diverse realm on hot but cold day. See, even I can boggle your mind. Sounds good though doesn’t it. Up for boggling your own mind? This is for you.

And it gets worse, on 5 and a half hours it ends and your just peeling yourself of the floor thinking your actually alive and kicking then BOOM, a 1hr 30min podcast with the author. End without starting and get a refund if your reading this after being deluded into purchasing.

It's a good read but I didn't have a clue what was going on. I do now as I listened to it twice on the bounce and the same with Breaking the habit so I'm learning and leads you nicely into Becoming Supernatural. I would tell you to bypass this and do Breaking and then Becoming Super if your on the meditation journey with an interest in how its all happening in the brain. Whatever you decide, it's a good path. Dr Joe is in my latest top 5 favourite humans on the planet at the moment.

This is one that I'll keep going back to. After listening to Evolve the Brain and then Breaking the habit of being yourself I found this a flowing breeze of enjoyment. I bought the hardback to scan over the pictures of the bran waves which are really interesting as you will get an idea of what's going on in the old head. Reading the previous books helped me with this. If your getting into meditating then this is a must.

Physics, if you know nothing about Physics then do a crash course and then you can enjoy this book. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not clever enough for this. I hated Physics at school, just brain numbed me. I have no doubt this is a good book, I'm just too thick to appreciate it. I love listening to Neil Tyson, I enjoyed the Cosmos on Netters and I hope that one day I can return to this audiobook after I've gained some knowledge on what he's talking about. Only my opinion guys which means absolutely nothing to anyone in the grand scheme of things.

I like Matthew Walker, he’s a nice guy, very clever and has put a lot of research into sleep and I’d say if anyone knows his stuff it’s him.

This book is an absolute nightmare in it’s self. I am more surprised that there is actually a human race still living after hearing the consequences of deprived sleep in all forms of which we are all suspect to at some points throughout our lives.

I’ll do you a favour, I’m nice like that, save yourself 13 hours of torture and watch Matthew on Joe Rogan’s podcast. He’s talking for 3 hours and it’s a much better nutshell to listen to.

I’m gutted I put myself through this audiobook.

The story I have no doubt is interesting and the wording is all there but the narrator is awful. Very very hard to follow. I struggled with this. The only way I can put it.... he talks like his head is in a bucket. I’m going to read the paperback and recapture in my own comfortable reading head.
