It's hard to find an audiobook or even book on depression that is neither a long anecdote nor a dry, clinical study. This audiobook is both honest and objective, profoundly affecting and challenging, personal and practical. I gained valuable knowledge of how I can process through my own depression and how I can explain to someone else. Often, one of the most challenging aspects of dealing with depression is the frustration of not being able to adequately convey it to someone who doesn't suffer from it. I think I will refer them to this book from now on!

I highly recommend this book. This book reveals how the liver actually works and what we need to do to keep it healthy. There is something in the author's writing style that makes me feel that there is scientific truth in this book that will be discovered far into the future.

Very well done, lots of great information just a bit dry on the delivery. He makes a GREAT argument for at least practicing mooring while under sail without a motor. I will be practicing this from now on.

I especially like the chapters that you had to take a long hard look at yourself and your behaviors to see what you could change about yourself. The writing exercises you do in the book make you look into yourself a Mike is good at simplifying the exercises that you have to do so that you can fully understand them. The book Best Self contains words of wisdom that are focused on building a healthy, balanced, and productive life.

I got much essential info from this book. Intermittent fasting gives one the ability to extend life, improve concentration, prevent insulin resistance, reduce inflammation, possibly stave off or control some diseases as well as improve the entire aging process. There are forms of intermittent fasting in various groups around the world that exist in religious practices. The overall best content guide from the Author prescribed!

This audiobook is easy to listen and packed with information so you can keep it as a useful reference (not to mention a good size and weight so you can stick in your pack). Well researched with lots of great references, from hiking maps and planning trips to getting the right gear without busting your budget, this is a great resource for getting into the great outdoors!
