Have read The first book Master & Commander expectations were high, and I was not disappointed, excellent story. Thoroughly enjoyed the continued relationship with ships doctor and twists and turns it brought. General suspense of each battle had me listening way into the early hours. The touch of the Jane Austin romance balanced out the story and wasn’t too heavy. Highly recommend this book and look forward to the rest.

This swashbuckling adventure gripped me hour after hour, story line flowed easily leaving me wanting more. Love the blow by blow action, intrigue and insight into another world and time. What’s not to like from Wilbur.
