A "filler episode"

This is a good read. It has an interesting plot with the already established and much beloved characters.
Yet, it failed to move the character's story forward. It did not add anything to their story.
If the "In Death" series would have been a TV Series, I would say that this could have been categorised as a "filler episode".

Needed a female narrator's voice

I could not relate (and at times I felt quite annoyed) with the characters.
But more than that, the narrator had a really poor performance of the female character.
It should have been a woman narrating the female character's parts.

It is definitely not one of Nora's best, but it is very good for a short read.
It takes you away from reality for a short period of time.

Although it was a story that could have had a lot potential (if developed into a longer novel), I felt that I could not connect to the characters and the narrator definitely did not help.

I enjoyed very much this story.
It was engaging, the characters were quite likeable and the story was fascinating.

I enjoyed the story, its paranormal aspects and the characters.
Yet I found it light and quite predictable.
Still, it is worth a read/listening.

Good, but with an obvious plot twist

I loved the book; I loved the characters, I found the subject to be relevant to today's society (in general).
But, unfortunately, I saw the villain "coming a mile away".
