Really enjoyed this book. The story is well thought out and seemingly captures the atmosphere of Cuba in the 1950's perfectly. my only issue was the totally unnecessary and random "musical interludes" !!!!

Superb, beautifully written and engaging.

The story was not in any way plausible, the characters clichéd and the narrative slow. Other reviews referenced John Le Carre, I don't think so !!!
