A thrilling collection of 20 stories - some brand new, some published in magazines, all entirely brilliant and collected for the first time - with a wonderful bonus: in addition to his introduction to the whole collection, King gives readers a fascinating introduction to each story with autobiographical comments on their origins and motivations.

This book in my opinion was no where near up to the Stephen King standard I have become used to. Where as one or two of the stories captured my interest, I found myself bored and awaiting the end of most. This is the only one of his books I read and found myself happy to put down for long periods and unfortunately, was happy to have reached the end.

An ordinary parking lot in southern California. Christine Scavello and her six-year-old son are accosted by a strange old woman. "I know who you are," the woman snaps at the boy. "I know what you are." A scream, a threat - and then a grotesque act of violence. Suddenly Christine's pride and joy, her only son, is targeted by a group of religious fanatics. They've branded him the Antichrist. They want to kill him. And they are everywhere.

Good book overall, interesting story line. Performance by Angela Dawe great. Unfortunately ending wasn't great. Readers ability to change voice for characters was very impressive.
