I loved this book. Graham tells a fantastic story of dark family secrets with cheeky humour rolled in. His talent for voices is fantastic! Engaging and sad, but warm and funny; a great read.

This was such an easy listen. Graham brings his characters to life with charm and wit. A lovely story, but bittersweet. Immediately bought his next book.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it certainly didn't disappoint. The characters are engaging and the plot is fresh, original and wholly believable. The author definitely caught the sense of the average office worker facing the apocalypse without any cheesy over the top heroics.

If you could sum up The Martian in three words, what would they be?

Bear Grylls in space! (ok, so that's 4)

Who was your favorite character and why?

Venket Kapoor; the right amount of sarcastic and exhausted for a programmer manager :)

What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?

All the voices were incredibly distinctive and expressive.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

One astronaut, 5 rolls of duck tape, 1,000,000 ways to die. What could go wrong?

Any additional comments?

If you don't read this you will really regret it when the film comes out!

Where does Ready Player One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This definitely ranks in the top 10.

Which character – as performed by Wil Wheaton – was your favourite?

I had no idea what WW would be like as a narrator but he gives the characters a real warmth without over camping or over acting.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

It's a real love letter to all the things about the 80's that were kitsch and fun. I loved hearing about all the crazy films that played a big part in my growing up :) I heard Spielberg is going to direct the film and I dearly hope he does it right!
