Having saved the distant world of Caeles and its interstellar empire - not to mention the life of its ruler, Queen Dornoccia - Jim (aka Kid Sensation), returns to Earth with two notable prizes. The first is his long-missing grandmother, the alien Princess Indigo. The other is Queen Dornoccia’s great-great-granddaughter, Myshtal, who is a princess in her own right and a budding superhero. And thanks to the machinations of the queen, she’s also Jim’s titular fiancee, a fact that puts something of a damper on Jim’s relationship with his girlfriend, Electra.

Despite some reviews I enjoyed the evolution of Jim's character and the situations he finds himself in, without too many spoilers his interactions with Grey were well done and it means a good story development of where Kid Sensation could bring his conscience to bear and also still experience normal teen problems as his peers. The usual trademark twists were also present to keep us on our toes. Narration as to he expected was excellent so overall another throughly enjoyed audio.
I requested this audio and as such have left my thoughts on this for everyone.

As the grandson of the alien princess Indigo, Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has always known that, technically, he's royalty. That said, he'd be the first to admit that he's never lived any kind of regal lifestyle - no titles, no castles, no crown jewels. However, the arrival of a courier from his grandmother's home world changes all of that in an instant. By royal edict, Jim is summoned home to the distant planet Caeles in order to claim an alien inheritance.

Great twists and new adventures ahead as Kid Sensation goes Inter Galactic. A few obvious bits but some nice twists and it was nice to see Kid Sensation doing outside the norm. Without spoilers this book has made life a lot more interesting for the entire series personally and professionally.
Cant fault the storyline or the narration as solid efforts from both as usual.

This was a random reccommended listen and as such I'm very pleased with it. Not only does it harken to LitRPG but takes a new look at the post apocalyptic aftermath and gives the characters a great opportunity to showcase Hummels writing. Narration by the team of Armen and Anneliese worked very well and I would recommend them again.
Outside feeling like it went too fast, I have no bad things to say about this and only ask hurry up with the next audio

For Meredith Gale, ending her life seems like her only choice, and that choice is the reason she’s dangling by her fingertips from a bridge high above the freezing water of the San Francisco Bay. But someone or some thing has other plans for Meredith, and as her fingers slip from the cold steel of the bridge, a disembodied voice asks her a simple question: “Candidate 13: Do you wish to be saved?” Realizing her mistake too late, Meredith screams “Yes!” and instantly finds herself transported to a mysterious island, alongside hundreds of other Candidates like her.

New to the author but liking the sound of the story I picked this one up. The premise is totally new but is different done quite well in building the story as it is well written and keeps your attention.
The characters are done with a good touch of realism and my main fault is I had often deduced the thread or the conclusion from previous happenings. It did take till just over 50% before I was properly surprised.
Despite this I found this quite easy to follow and enjoy although I think the supporting characters helped this along a lot with their tales of woe and hardship.
I'll be interested and curious to see where the 2nd in the series will go.
Narration was surprisingly good and i will keep my eye out for further work from Kate Reading.

The pressure of being a super - especially a teen super - can get to anyone, as Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has witnessed firsthand. Now he wonders if he himself might be succumbing to the strain in some way, as he can't shake the feeling that he is now being watched by some new stalker. Moreover, despite his wide slate of powers, he hasn't been able to discover a single clue to substantiate the existence of this potential new enemy, making him wonder if it's all in his head.

Yet another cool story from the titan universe, in this politics play a big part as we see just why the events of Book 1 unfolded. With another new set of characters to meet and some more history of Malcolm's to come across this sets the grit in even deeper , a great listen and one I'm more than happy to reccommend. Rc Bray suits this story and his voice works very well especially after the initial audio. Cant wait for books 3 and 4 to come out if only so I can then have some great looking audio covers and even more time to listen and enjoy.

Being a fan of LitRPG I found this quite light on the stats and harem style but a nice starter for those who don't want to listen to a narrator state 100 stats every few pages. The sex is mostly tame or suggestive and is easy enough to follow without impacting the story too much.
The storyline of a Temple waif made into a new Goddesses high priest due to a War God run amok and giving him the ability to control peoples stats as they cant do it themselves is quite a good premise.
The characters are nicely written and as such you find yourself content to follow their life, the pace could be a bit faster and I feel like maybe another 50 to 100 pages( 1 hour) of content would of helped the story along a bit.
Narration was quite clear ,concise and had good tones for easy listening as it suited the story's pace and tone.
Overall this is a good start for 1st audio and in think would work well for a 2nd so 4.5stars overall a few elements needed but overall quite good.

This is another in the series of companion novels for Kid Sensation, but what always surprises me about these novels is the rich history and the immersive experience you get when you listen to these.
This one is in relation to Electra and is about her search for her family past and brings a history that many have tried to bury for better or worse.
Narration this time by Elizabeth Platt is quite good and although she is new to be i found her suiting the characters quite well.
As you would expect from a Kid Sensation series the danger and thrills are still there and keep the story moving along and the listeners interest well.

It's Audio 2 and after out revelations in Book 1 this is even better yet as Roman comes to grips with his powers and faces some choices he isn't too sure about.
As he investigate everything happening he knows one think he is going to need lot more help and a lot more control of his powers. This was an exciting jump in Centralia life with a great mix of adventure, thrills and of course some humour.
Narration from Hellegers was very good and suits this story down to a "T".
Hopefully audio 3 isn't too far away as this was something i made sure to do in 1 sitting and I would find i again.
