I'm back with my super hot superhero ladies, but this time we have a couple of new friends in the mix. For one, we've managed to track down the Blue Lady - a fact that leaves me wondering what I've gotten myself into. She's hellbent on revenge, and now we're wrapped up in her mission. Luckily for us, it seems her mission could lead us to the location of a missing member our party, along with some Tier One supers and, possibly, my father.

I found this pretty good as i was surprised at how well it fitted into the Heroes story. I found the female characters a better fit even though narration was male as was the MC and a little slower off the ground compared to the Heroes Series but overall very simliar.
This story complements the overall universe and Heroes side very well however and there is enough information to listen to without being familiar with previous books.
Alexander did a good job with this but i found i missed the SBT teams efforts that you come across on the Heroes series.
I got this in a giveaway and I have chosen to leave my thoughts on this for you to peruse.

Worthy successor to the book 1, as this time round Whitney has to escape an old enemy and the trials of Torsen become even harder this time as he has to face an army from the sand.
The action in this ,I thought was more suited to the personalities. And this is just a little more ingratiated than the previous book.
Best of all the sardonic humour comes alive and even Redstars narration doesn't grate as much as it did in book 1.
This has went from strength to strength and I hope the next in the series also performs just as well.
Narration i found was as expected and well done by LD as this is a lot easier to listen to compared to the first as the accents are a little less folksy.
Proof that you can also done good job without going over the top or you get used to it given enough exposure.

Another return to flipside where the elements, humans and Dinosaurs and it seems fate all have it in for the survivors of time bubbles.
As time passes the tensions and loss of equipment and personnel give this a great thrill. In this story especially the human fight comes into play more although it can be a bit more confusing than the events of Book 1. I'm still sticking with this as it's still a good thriller and the usual go to narrator for Jake Bible, ABW does his consistent high levels of narration as expected.
More a good story and something different but still very enjoyable , the time events probably make this a bit easier to follow in ebook format but the narration make a up for it so I will say 4.5 stars.

The character of Rika shows a great fortitude and no small feats of courageous leadership so this makes for great listening as we hear how a young adult is unfairly made into a slave of a war machine and how that war and her treatment affected her humanity.
With great storytelling from M Cooper this is a harrowing tale but gives great faith in that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. The treatment at the hands of the rest of humanity alongside Sentient A.I.s makes for a great backdrop and thoughtful perusing of what we would do in this situation as well as cheering on her advance against a great evil star empire .
Cooper excels in these strong characters but keeps a lot of humour with military group bonding and light hearted moments that breaks up one of his darker storylines.
5 out of 5 all round for this ,and although I'm new to this Narrator Alison Stinnett, i think she suits the characters to a tee and does well with the male voices.

This was an interesting read, the concepts and characters work really well if a little bit of the fantastic goes into the situation as is typical of harem style.
Given the female rescue, discover, upgrade and levels of bad guys you expect drom this type gives a good grounding to this and is fairly easy to keep track of skill trees etc.
Narration by James Patrick Cronin is quite good although i would prefer the female voices to be different so probably about 4.5 .
Story and overall give this a 5 star and most definitely a follower of the series.

This tale is either love it or very good as we go on an unusual quest through a new land facing thieves to goddesses to save a kingdom.
Although this is very well written a few might find one of our main characters Whitney a bit too much although the talents of Luke Daniels make him quite tongue in cheek and very engaging. This is a great piece of work by LD but attention is needed for some of the more minor characters as the accents cam be a little too thick for easy listening. I will be keeping a keen eye out for the next in the series as i found myself having a wry smile by the end as i bonded with the writing and the story.
Overall the story is 4.5 and narration brings this up to a 5 .

Despite a bit of a slow start this is a ROAK through and through as so many twists and the ending now has me on my toes waiting for the next in the series.
Despite being a lone wolf, the addition of a crew works well for this and I liked the interplay between the new members and the story has turned into an on going saga as ROAK attempts to get his chits and payback whilst doing his usual stony manner to a T.
Narration by ABW is excellent and this is probably my favourite of his work to date.

As the world moves into factions it takes our innovative hero and a lot of guts to bring the newly spawned travellers into contention as a rebel faction is born and so the spirit of freedom and free choice gets a leader.
With such a charismatic and well written character as Jack Hunter brings us into a very interactive and innovative world again that u just wish was real. The Fights are well done as is the world building something that hunter is top of the class in within the LitRPG writing community. Paired with the talents of Taylor as narrator this audio can deserve no less than 5 stars and a dedicated fan to be born. Some series take a few books/audios to settle into but this has been a leader from the get go and it looks to continue this as i cant wait for further adventures to be listened to.
