Book 1: Albion Lost: For centuries, the Daegon waited. They plotted. And now they are ready to strike. The core worlds of settled space enjoy a tenuous peace, unaware and ill prepared for the threat building beyond the furthest reaches of humanity. The star kingdom of Albion stands as a shining light of justice and mercy in a harsh galaxy, and they will be the first to suffer the Daegon's fury. Book 2: The Long March: Commodore Thomas Gage and his fleet, safeguarding the last of the Albion Royal Family, are on the run.

Loved this story and it was read brilliantly. Only flaw is the aliens are dead, their fighters crash, yet the core-drill ship flies away...

Downloaded by mistake on my phone, as it was hard to see that it was French. Ridiculous having a foreign language version for sale on usual site. It should be put into a separate area. Not happy at all.

First contact: the dream that became a nightmare when the first alien life encountered swarmed locust-like through the solar system. Merciless. Relentless. Unstoppable. With little hope of halting the invading forces, Earth's last, desperate roll of the die was to send out three colony ships - seeds of Earth - to different parts of the galaxy.

Filled with twists and turns this is a more than interesting tale. One filled with patriotism, love, politics and betrayal. I'm looking forward to more in this adventure.

Everything is familiar. But everything has changed. Coming back to the little community is like walking into a nightmare for Jim Gardener, poet, drunk, potential suicide. It all looks the same: the house; the furniture; Jim's friend, Bobbi; her beagle (though ageing); even the woods out at the back. But it was in the woods that Bobbi stumbled over the odd, part-buried object and felt a peculiar tingle as she brushed the soft earth away. Everything is familiar. But everything is about to change.

Loved listening to this. Easy to relate to the many characters, the elements of love and romance - told as a backdrop to the superb scifi tale.
