It doesn't get too graphic about animal cruelty which might turn some people off nor does it get too preachy. I think it gives a good amount of information to help people decide if this is the right lifestyle for them.

My 8 year old loves this book, and loves to make up and tell jokes, but it is a challenge to listen to for hours on end in the car. They may be funny to kids, but not so funny for adults. But I would recommend for kids, it does serve its purpose for her, lots of laughs for her and her sister.
