I can't quite believe this book. How someone can make such an abhorrent subject so entertaining and funny is pure genius. It is both written and narrated brilliantly. I want more from these two, fantastic and shocking :-)

Since her husband walked out, Louise has made her son her world, supporting them both with her part-time job. But all that changes when she meets...David. Young, successful and charming - Louise cannot believe a man like him would look at her twice let alone be attracted to her. But that all comes to a grinding halt when she meets his wife...Adele. Beautiful, elegant and sweet - Louise's new friend seems perfect in every way.

This is the best book I've read in a long while. The plot just keeps unfolding culminating in a fantastic ending which left me totally open-mouthed. A vein of the story may me a little 'out of the ordinary', but, for me, this just makes it more shocking. Absolutely brilliant writing :-)
And the performance was excellent to, very entertaining and easy to listen to :-)
WOW!!

When a paragraph in an evening newspaper reveals a decades-old tragedy, most readers barely give it a glance. But for three strangers, it's impossible to ignore. For one woman it's a reminder of the worst thing that ever happened to her. For another it's the dangerous possibility that her darkest secret is about to be discovered. And for a third, a journalist, it's the first clue in a hunt to uncover the truth. The Child's story will be told.
