Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy’s athletic prowess, Carolyn is gaining an - um - intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed "dating hiatus," and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor.

Welcome to the sensual world of This Man...Young interior designer Ava O'Shea has no idea what awaits her at the Manor. A run-of-the-mill consultation with a stodgy country gent seems likely, but what Ava finds instead is Jesse Ward - a devastatingly handsome, utterly confident, pleasure-seeking playboy who knows no boundaries. Ava doesn't want to be attracted to this man, and yet she can't control the overwhelming desire he stirs in her.

Erotic dialog not believable and accents ...received pronunciation being 'posh' Ava's voice is very irritating ...
Not sure which came first Crossfire series or 'this Man' but Crossfire storyline, background story and dialogue is far superior
Gave up after 4 hours... really wanted to like it but kept making me cringe and laugh

Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably. Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.

After reading the other books in the series I was happy to see this latest chapter published.
But.... It has a very poor storyline.
The first 5 hours are taken up with the characters re capping on past emotions feelings and far to much explaining. I even had to fast forward several times when Eva was (again ) daydreaming in between conversations with other characters....
Plus there was no real storyline like in the other books. This one was only about planing a wedding, nothing else going on. mAde the whole book very painful to listen to. Should of left it alone.
