I strongly recommend the guest 20% of the book. After that stop. It's soooooo boring and just rambles on with no point. I wish I'd stopped earlier so that I could have returned it.

This is a poorly edited ad

I bought this book to supplement my education about microgrids and renewable energy sources. There is a lot of good information in here but you have to wade through an extremely heavly biased description about the relationship between solar and the utilities. This is clearly just an infomercial and simplifies a complicated issue to sell a product. Also the editing was poor and left in a few bloopers and misspeaks. I don't think I will recommend this.

So strange and wonderful. I didn't expect to enjoy a story about the unexpected effects of streaming porn on the world. Now I want to recommend it to everyone.

This book is a must read for anyone who has ever bought anything or thrown anything away. Adam Minter is a talented writer whose vivid descriptions of the industry bring the people and economics of scrap to life. It is as artistic as any novel with an important message that any American should hear. I will never look at my trash can the same way again.
