My name is Peter Grant, and until January, I was just probationary constable in that mighty army for justice known to all right-thinking people as the Metropolitan Police Service (and as the Filth to everybody else). My only concerns in life were how to avoid a transfer to the Case Progression Unit - we do paperwork so real coppers don't have to - and finding a way to climb into the panties of the outrageously perky WPC Leslie May. Then one night, in pursuance of a murder inquiry, I tried to take a witness statement from someone who was dead but disturbingly voluble....

Great series bringing crime and fantasy together in a very modern setting.
But for me the highlight is Kobna Holdbrook-Smith's narration. Loved it. Feel like I know Peter Grant. Now I am eagerly awaiting the next installment in his adventures.

Really really liked this. Having never read anything by Marlund before I was really happy to have found this.

The desert planet Arrakis, called Dune, has been destroyed. Now, the Bene Gesserit, heirs to Dune's power, have colonized a green world - and are tuning it into a desert, mile by scorched mile. Chapterhouse Dune is the last book Frank Herbert wrote before his death and stunning climax to the epic Dune legend that will live on forever.

Having read the Dune series years ago I wanted to re-visit my favorite book, Chapterhouse. This installment focuses on the Bene Gesserit with all their political scheming. The multiple narrators really helps make this audio book version come to life. Overall I was not disappointed.
