Widespread Welsh accent a bit iffy especially the Geordies. but you get over it, great story by an expert- passable performance not equal to it

we are all familiar with this classic but this strong performance is worth hearing again and again. sadly I only ever see Mark Lester in my minds eye. he was great in the role but I could live without him. yes try it one more time and enjoy -at least the happily ever after, weep through the rest

brilliantly tragic and lol funny

so fabulous to be read this book so well narrated, first seen as a TV period drama as a child, but nuances lost on my youth, this time I loved it, I wept and laughed and better understood the human condition worth more than the sum of the parts

delightfully told tale

engrossing and clever, with more twists and turns than a box of snakes, not as daft as some Cobens, Hester Crimshaw only gets a name call.

Its short but a good story, Jack Reachers part is again read with a lmost chanting of the short sentences of his consideration. Overall it didn't really work. Uninspiting

Jack Reacher is a great hero but the reading was far too staccato for me and spoilt the book. buy a paperback
