Good - not the best but still well worth a read/listen. Shame about the pointless chapter on the zombie candy crush game. But once again Joe writes with humour, suspense, horror, and more humour.

Watered down Dan Brown. I felt the same after his last outing but gave him another chance. The main trouble is, it is so obvious what the "twist" is and who's behind everything and so the narrative becomes dull and painful to follow. The BIG science secret of where we come from ....where are we going....is, I don't want to give anything away, but if you went to school - you will already know. Feeling a bit cheated and let down as DB does like to keep you waiting on this.
The narrator could easily have been a character in the story. Paradoxically, he sounds the most animated when reading the computer voice and sounds like a computer when narrating the human voices.
