This is not necessarily about the dollar signs or the things you possess but about the right attitude and alignment with God. Eric Butterworth offers a practical explaination of how to a live a life in God's Kingdom. This might mean you will prosper financially it might not. Ask a teacher or a nurse do they feel prosperous and in what way . This book shattered my prejudice against new thought and Unity. Well worth a listen!

This isn't some twee Christian book where everything feels great. This is a brutally honest book of a Christian minister having to face the reality of ALS.

Simply brilliant and moving. An inspiring epitaph for a man who embodied the good news. The news is that the kingdom of God is available to you now and always forever. Dallas's life and work discussed here is testimony to that.

What did you like most about Being Christian?

This audio book was a superb summary of Baptism, Bible, Eucharist and prayer. I particularly liked the pastoral approach and delivery. Rowan Williams even touches upon the dark passage in the Old Testament which is very important. For example: many of the early Israelites in the Old Testament clearly thought it was God’s will that they should engage in ‘ethnic cleansing’ — that they should slaughter without mercy the inhabitants of the Promised Land into which they had been led. If he did, that would be so hideously at odds with what the biblical story as a whole seems to say about God. This means we really should read the OT through the eyes of what we know of Jesus. This is a very important learning for Christians.

This is an excellent book and I would highly recommend it.

This book is superb. The author cuts through all the mumbo jumbo and offers practical advice to those who struggle with worry and anxiety. The narration was excellent and I found him easy to listen to. I highly recommend it.

I really like Marks paperback version but this sounds like its incomplete. One minute Mark is taking I'd through a Visualization and then bam! We hope you enjoy this audible....

I thought we would get "The putting it all together" chapter and a conclusion.

Anyway.. Content and ideas good... Finished product poor.
