Great book read by the man himself.

Some of the editing is poor which makes it jump around abit and you hear the same thing twice but because it’s so well written and read you don’t mind this too much.

Hope there’s a new chapter in wrestling for Justin in the future (AEW maybe) ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Towering at six feet seven inches, Crouch is prized for his self-deprecating humour, having famously answered the question โ€œwhat would you be if you werenโ€™t a footballer?โ€ with the one liner โ€œa virginโ€. At the same time, he has had an incredible career, from World Cups to Champions League finals. He has scored more headed goals than anyone else in Premiership history and has a better goals-to-minute on the pitch ratio for England than even Michael Owen. A humble professional with a great sense of humour, Crouch is one of the few players that is liked by fans of all clubs.

In his first book, David Jason told us about himself from his early years training as an electrician through to making it as one of Britain's actors. This autumn, in a follow-up autobiography, he tells us about the many other lives he has lived - his characters. From Del Boy to Granville, Pop Larkin to Frost, he takes us behind the scenes and under the skins of some of the best loved acts of his career. And in the process he reflects on how those characters changed his life, too.

I was really looking forward to hearing the book of my childhood hero read by the man himself but unfortunately you only get the intro read by him the rest is read by someone else who frankly sounds like a piece of computer software.
Glad I read the book before I listened to this.

Lee Evans is one of the best-loved comedians in the country; a Hollywood star able to sell out arenas in the blink of eye. But he was not always such a roaring success. Read unabridged by the man himself, the audiobook edition of The Life of Lee is an utterly hilarious and very moving autobiography, charting his ups and downs on the way to the top.
