Lady Claire Trevelyan has had to deal with betrayal before, in small ways and large. But none is quite so painful as the belief that Gloria Meriwether-Astor had deserted her and her friends and left them to die under the waters of Venice. When she learns that Gloria has inexplicably vanished, she has no choice but to follow her heart and attempt to find the missing heiress. But the decisions of the heart do not sit well with the gentlemen in her life, who had every reason to believe she planned to settle down at last.

When children go missing and the humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker. Bringing my allies together as war approaches is my number one concern. But that means I have to play nice with a vampire who is blackmailing me, even though I'd rather remove his head.

Would you listen to Tracker again? Why?

I probably would not listen to it again

Any additional comments?

It's very frustrating that audible hasn't made the whole series available.
Book six ends with a preview of book seven , yet book seven is not available.

What would have made The Guardians better?

Maybe a less robotic sounding narrator.
Also the leading man saying'baby' a lot less would help.

Those are just annoying but the story just doesn't flow. Disappointed .

What was most disappointing about Mandy M. Roth’s story?

The premis was a good idea but it was just poorly written

On the outside, Dina Demille is the epitome of normal. She runs a quaint Victorian Bed and Breakfast in a small Texas town, owns a Shih Tzu named Beast, and is a perfect neighbor, whose biggest problem should be what to serve her guests for breakfast.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

This turned out to be more sci fi than fantasy.

What could Ilona Andrews have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Great idea but just not enough detail
